Soccer Player Welsh Athlete Ramsey Increases Reward for Missing Dog in Mexican Territory to $Twenty Thousand Dollars
Wales football star Ramsey has boosted the reward for leads concerning his vanished canine named Halo to $$20k.
Ex- Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff City midfielder, who now plays for Pumas UNAM in Mexico City, revealed that the beagle was spotted in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato area.
The beagle, who disappeared on 9 October, was equipped with a dog tracker collar, and Ramsey shared a map pinpoint of her last known location.
"Any sort of news concerning our pet Halo kindly contact us. Big bounty for finding her. We are all hoping she's ok and comes home to our side quickly," the athlete wrote on Instagram.
Earlier Offer and Heartfelt Appeals
The footballer first announced that Halo had vanished a fortnight back and has subsequently shared several images of the adored canine on his social media account.
A £7,500 incentive was first announced, but with no news on Halo's whereabouts after a seven days, the player and his family doubled the amount.
"All we desire is our pet home," he stated in a further appeal on social media after the elderly pet disappeared.
A recent picture upload is a grayscale snapshot of the beagle napping, her head lying in the bend of Ramsey's elbow, with the caption: "What I wouldn't give to cuddle you again Halo."
Household's Worries and Context
Ramsey has additionally posted a note from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on online channels indicating they have a few "serious concerns" surrounding the incident and fear the household "may never obtain clarity".
"To this day we have not located Halo. I don't think we will," his wife's update expressed.
The Wales skipper became part of Mexico's top-flight team Pumas UNAM in recent months and made his first appearance in Liga MX in August.
